| | POWDER COATING

Powder coating is an advanced method of applying a decorative and
protective finish to a wide range of materials. The powder is sprayed
onto a surface and by heating it in the oven the powder fuses into
a smooth coating. The result is a durable, high-quality, and attractive
finish. This treatment is being used more and more recently. Often
            it replaces paint spraying. The
reason for this is the most important difference between powder coating
and paint spraying; powder coating uses no solvents.

 Advantages
From a safety and environmental point of view this is a big advantage.
            For the environment it is
an improvement because powder coating means less pollutioning emission
and less waste. The improvement on safety
is also twofold: the danger of fire is ignorable and the employees
are not exposed to dangerous substances anymore. Another advantage
is the durability and solidity of a powder coating.

 Advice
When choosing the appropriate (pre-)treatment, you have to take into
account a lot of factors. It for example depends on the material and function (does it get used a lot), which treatment a product requires.
It also makes a difference whether an object will be used in a coastal
(less than 30 km inland) or industrial area or in a more rural area.
When used in a coastal or industrial area, a more ‘heavy’
system will be necessary. Of course we have the know-how at our disposal
to give you the adequate advice. Naturally you can always call (0031165-315193),
            e-mail, or visit us (Industrieweg
2K) to ask us for advice.

 Extra information
